HR Synergy Club of IndSearch Institute of Management Studies and Research, Pune, organised a Book Review Competition on 8 October 2026 at 11:30 a.m. in the institute’s Bavdhan campus Auditorium.
The competition was based on Build Your Leadership Muscle: Strengthen the Leader Within, authored by Meeta Kanhere, an alumna of IndSearch. The book focuses on leadership development and encourages readers to strengthen their leadership abilities through practical learning and self-reflection.
The competition was designed to connect leadership concepts with real-life managerial situations through concept presentations and case study analysis. The book was divided into four parts, with two groups assigned to each part. One group presented the key concepts, while the other analysed the related case studies, resulting in the participation of eight groups.
The presentations were evaluated on three criteria: critical analysis, originality and personal opinion, and presentation and communication skills, with a total of 50 marks. Two awards were planned under the categories of Best Concept Presentation and Best Case Study Presentation.
The activity provided students with an opportunity to explore leadership principles, develop critical thinking, and understand the practical application of management concepts. It also encouraged teamwork, effective communication, analytical abilities, and confidence in public speaking.
The competition celebrated the work of an IndSearch alumna while strengthening the institute’s commitment to experiential learning and holistic student development. Through this initiative, the HR Synergy Club encouraged students to reflect on their leadership potential and prepare themselves for future managerial responsibilities.
