Ms. Jaslieen Kaur is an HR professional with over 14 years of work experience in HR function. Her session was very engrossing where she briefed the students on different aspects of interview preparedness and also answered the queries that came from the students.
She divided her session into 3 parts: Pre-interview, Interview and Follow-up. In each section she spoke at length about the following points: about the company, job description, resume, what happens during the interview, dress code, importance of time, travel time, greeting people, addressing the interviewer, phrasing the right sentences, focus, read between the lines, salary, emails to the company, web/ telephonic interviews, protocols, theories and models that apply to the field of work.
The session was very interactive and the students had their doubts clarified. Ms. Jaslieen said she would look forward to more sessions in the future.
