Webinar on Volkswagen Motorsports India: Bridging the Gap between Virtual and Real World Racing

The webinar conducted online from 2 pm to 4 pm was attended by students and faculty of MBA and BMS.

In this interactive session with a captivating audio-visual presentation of 2 hours the guest speaker elucidated the students about

  • “Volkswagen Motorsports India” and its upcoming event “Volkswagen Virtual Racing Championship” (Volkswagen India’s racing division decided to host 2020 Polo Cup virtually due to the Coronavirus Pandemic)
  • The complete 10 years journey of Volkswagen Motorsports in India and making a mark
  • The main idea behind the event held by Volkswagen India was to synonymously promote their new car model RACE-POLO which was unveiled in the Auto-Expo 2020
  • The reach and visibility not only to their brand but also to the sponsors of the event and also through race suits, the merchandise
  • Reach through OTT platforms through their web series- The Driving Force

Through this presentation, with a mention of their branding and marketing strategies through the championship, events, social media, Ms. Sneha gave a clarity on the promotional activities of their company.

Ms. Sneha Jain gave students her guidance and insights on how marketing aspirants can shape up and pursue their careers and keep themselves updated with the latest.

At the end of the session the guest speaker unveiled the Marketing Contest hosted by Marketing team of Volkswagen Motorsports India. She encouraged all the students to participate in the same and express their unique innovative ideas.
