BMS (Bachelor of Management Studies) Orientation 2016

The inauguration of the first batch of BMS (Bachelor of Management Studies) on 1st and 2nd July 2016 was a grand event with all the Senior members of IndSearch present, with the students of the new batch. Dr. Ashok Joshi, Director General spoke about IndSearch as an Institution and the importance of BMS, the only undergraduate professional course of its kind in Pune. Officiating Director Dr. N.M.Vechalekar spoke about the importance of management in all phases of life and told the students to make use of all the facilities provided to them. Dr. Sunita Joshi, Dean, Undergraduate Programmes spoke about the course and additional skills that would be provided to the students. Dr. Pravin Saptarshi, Adjunct Faculty in Environmental Sciences also motivated the students. The Orientation Programme began with Prof. Manjari Lal, Coordinator - Undergraduate Programmes welcoming everyone to the event.

The students had multiple sessions on important aspects of life. To begin with Dr. Parag Thuse, Director, Swasthya Yog Kendra spoke on 'Health & Career'. Dr. Madhuvanti Sathe, Consultant & Trainer spoke on 'Exploring the Horizons' , Prof. Aparna Tembulkar on 'Presentation skills and effective communication', Prof. Vivek Keskar on the BMS Course and industrial requirement.

There was an ice-breaking session for the students as well. Post the two day orientation, the students were all set for the academic rigour.
