Career Development Cell – CDC (Placements)
At IndSearch, we provide placement assistance to students pursuing their full time Masters programme in Business Administration in the various functional areas of management.
The placement activities are carried out under the auspices of the Career Development Cell i.e. The CDC
The CDC activities are headed by Dr. N.M. Vechalekar - Associate Dean Post Graduate Programs. He is assisted by a team of faculty members comprising of

Career Development Advisory Committee (CDAC)
To guide us in our career development efforts, we have also constituted a Career Development Advisory Committee (CDAC) comprising of eminent people from the Industry and a few of our illustrious alumni.
This committee helps us in preparing the students for their careers by mentoring and counseling the students and also by guiding us in deciding on various strategies on placements.

Final Placements
At IndSearch, we aim to make successful professionals who can balance their corporate responsibility along with their social commitments.
The Emotional Skills Assessment Process (ESAP) module is given to the second year MBA students at IndSearch.The assessment gives the students a feed forward path of understanding and development in terms of self and career.It is a positive assessment program that focusses on Interpersonal Skills like assertion, Leadership skills like empathy, decision making and Self management skills like drive, strength, time management, commitment, self esteem and stress management.
Students undertaking the ESAP are then mentored by certified ESAP Coaches.
IndSearch is running this program in association with Ms. Bhagyashree Ranade (An ESAP certified analyst and coach) of Discovery and Transition
In addition to the prescribed curriculum, we provide several additional inputs to the students. Additional input modules on Leadership Exploration and Development (LEAD), Interpersonal Skills, Foreign Languages and Intellectual Property Rights groom students professionally. Guest lectures by experts from the various functional areas of management are also arranged for the students. Students are also exposed to workshops on Presentation Skills and Negotiation Skills.
IndSearch students are also encouraged to take up internships with corporates to get hands-on experience about management practices in organizations.
A Final placement brochure giving detailed information about the Institute, its courses, the student profile and the unique aspects of each of the courses is prepared and sent to various corporates. Students as well as faculty teams go for brochure presentations with prior appointments and invite organizations to the campus for placements.
In recent years our students have found placements with esteemed organizations like Siemens, Aquatech Asia , Emerson, Pricewaterhouse Coopers, R sytems, Tech Mahindra, Zensar, KPITCummins Infosystems, Geometric, Kirloskar Brothers and Electronica Finance, to name a few.
Summer Placements
The Career Development Cell is also proactively involved in providing Summer Placements to the students. As a part of this activity students are inducted through a workshop on Summer Placement Preparedness .This helps students to orient themselves to workplace realities and corporate ethics and culture.
As in case of Final placements a brochure is also prepared for the summer placements, giving details of the Institute, the course contents and the students profiles.
