IndSearch Alumni Meet conducted at Bengaluru on 3rd July 2010
In a lively and wonderful evening punctuated by reliving nostalgic memories and reminiscing the past, the Bengaluru chapter of IndEx, the IndSearch Alumni network, conducted their second alumni meet on the 3rd of July 2010.
The Bengaluru IndEx chapter is particularly important because it is the 2nd such chapter instituted in a location other than Pune, other chapter being present in Mumbai. Speaking on the occasion and welcoming the Bengaluru alumni members, Dr. Ashok Joshi, Director, IndSearch, conveyed his pleasure at reconnecting with IndSearch students, many of whom have gone ahead to carve out highly successful careers in their respective areas of specialization in the industry.
Amongst the various issues discussed as a part of the meet, the key emphasis remained on increasing visibility and connect with former students as part of the various activities carried out by the institute. Dr. Joshi highlighted the stellar achievements of some of our distinguished alumni members and how the institute recognizes such achievements in the form of the ‘Distinguished Alumni Award’ on an annual basis. Dr. Joshi also stressed on the importance of instituting self sustained IndEx chapters in various locations outside Pune so that these would help freshers and veterans in the industry to interact and share knowledge with each other.

1. Mr. Shajan George – Is an Alumnus of the Masters in Personnel Management Batch of 1992-94. He is currently the Technical Director – India – R&M India Pvt. Ltd., Bengaluru.
2. Mr. Raj Karunakaran – Is an Alumnus of the Masters in Personnel Management Batch of 1996-98. He is currently the Sr. Manager, Human resources, Philips Electronics India Ltd., Bengaluru.
3. Mr. Ameet Kumar – Is an alumnus of the Masters in Personnel Management Batch of 2001-2003 . He is currently the Deputy Manager- Human Resources, at Syngene International Ltd., Bengaluru.
4. Mr. Parthajith Shenoy- Is an alumnus of the Masters in Personnel Management Batch of 2004-2006. He is currently the Assistant Manager, Human Resources, at KPMG, Bengaluru.
5. Ms. Anamika Kaul - Is an alumnus of the 2002-2004 batch of Masters in Personnel Management. She is currently with Sapient, Bengaluru.
6. Ms. Shraddha Deshpande- Is an alumnus of the Masters in Personnel Management Batch of 2001-2003. She is currently working as part of the Resource Management Group at Tech Mahindra Ltd., Bengaluru.
7. Prof. Rohan Sachdeo- Is an alumnus of the Masters in Personnel Management Batch of 2001-2003. He is currently functioning in the capacity of a faculty member at IndSearch, Pune.
8. Mr. Abhijit Joshi- Is an alumnus of the Masters in Computer Management Batch of 2005-2007. He is currently a Security specialist with Oracle India, Bengaluru. |
